How does Invisalign work?
Once Dr. Filler shows you how to place and remove the aligners in your mouth, you then wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to their final position. You will visit the office once every two weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
How long does the treatment take?
Total treatment time averages 9 - 15 months and the average number of aligners during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.

Alternative Orthodontic Appliances
Dr. Filler can offer alternative removable devices known as positioners or Hawley appliances to provide minor orthodontic movement. The advantages of these appliances are that they are easier to construct and oftentimes more affordable than standard orthodontics. Because of her on-site laboratory, she can make retainers for patients who have completed their orthodontic movement.
