Gum Disease Treatment – Without the Invasive Surgery

Periodontal or gum disease occurs when bacteria form around the teeth and gum line. The bacteria builds up, creating tartar. If this tartar and bacteria are not removed, "pockets" form at the gum line, which then weaken the bone and roots – ultimately resulting in tooth loss.

In the past, you had to undergo painful surgery to remove the plaque and reshape the gums in order to reattach gum tissue to the teeth. Now, however, Dr. Filler offers non-surgical gum disease treatment.

Known as Non-Surgical Irrigation, this new procedure uses a special anti-bacterial rinse that flushes the bacteria from the pockets. In addition, Dr. Filler will put you on a customized periodontal treatment program in order to carefully monitor your progress. The result is an excellent periodontal disease treatment – without the expense and pain of invasive surgery.
